Since relocating from Bisley, Surrey, to Newport, South Wales, in 1988, Bisley has continued to craft high-quality products at its UK factory, shipping them globally.

Since launching the iconic MultiDrawer in 1958, Bisley has been at the forefront of innovation, creating timeless designs that adapt to modern needs. This legacy is carried forward by generations of the workforce, ensuring relevance through the decades and durability in every piece.
Creating furniture that lasts a lifetime, Bisley focus on the highest quality materials, using the latest innovative technologies and processes with minimum impact on the environment. They continue to successfully implement a Green Design protocol, enabling the design team to consider the environmental properties of each new product, from its inception, testing, the finished product, and its delivery. The design protocol encapsulates material selection, build quality, and product reuse at the end of life.
All process waste at the company’s manufacturing site in Newport, including steel and wood offcuts, is captured and segregated for appropriate disposal and recycling, with 100% of general and wood waste being recycled or diverted from landfill. Bisley aim to become to zero to landfill by 2030.
People are at the heart of everything Bisley does, with over 30% of the current workforce having worked at the company for more than 20 years. The team is made of 360 in the UK and around a further 100 across the world – Bisley has subsidiaries that are based in France, Germany, Netherlands, Ireland, Dubai, and North America. Bisley actively employ locally and try to create supportive and accessible environment where individuals can learn and develop, becoming the leaders of tomorrow.
Bisley has a rich history of supporting the local region. They are involved in several initiatives to invest in the community, providing over £105,000 worth of charitable donations to causes both locally and overseas. Bisley also provide ongoing donations to St David’s Hospice, generated from the sale of scrap metal to recycling firms.
