Reimagined for a rapidly changing world, iD Inspiration harnesses the power of nature to create feel-good interiors
Workplaces of tomorrow and hospitality venues of the future are receiving an underfoot makeover with iD Inspiration, the latest launch by French firm Tarkett.
Inspired by nature, the new range was designed for wellbeing by deepening the connection between outdoor and interior spaces where people gather to work and learn.
Elaborately designed, iD Inspiration comprises 100 decors and 7 formats to allow agile transformations of space. Combining the design finesse of high definition printing with an ultra-matt effect and durability provided by Tarkett’s PU technology Tektanium, iD Inspiration allows designers to create ‘indoor landscapes’, thanks to the curated collection of colours and themes available.
From contemporary to classic, the new range is designed and made in Europe. Phthalate-free and printed with water-based inks to achieve enhanced environmental and indoor air quality standards, iD Inspiration also delivers ultra-low VOC emissions for optimal indoor air quality.
Further to this, Tarkett has designed the new collection with circularity in mind by focusing on resource cycles. For instance, glue down tiles contain up to 40.7% recycled content and all iD Inspiration installation offcuts can be recycled via Tarkett’s ReStart recycling and take-back programme. Clickable planks and tiles of the new collection can also be recycled post-use through ReStart.
From March 2021, French Studio 5•5 will be unveiling a new installation at the Atelier Tarkett in Paris showcasing its creative vision of iD Inspiration. For Studio 5•5, the new collection is more than just a new palette; rather, it offers a lifelike alternative to raw materials.
Celebrating nature, the colourful installation showcases various landscapes, each of them illustrating one of the materials that inspired the iD Inspiration collection.
“The upgrade of iD Inspiration is an exciting moment for us. This revamped collection not only offers designers and architects a rich creative resource of exceptional quality, it also ensures that the interior spaces they create will be healthier and kinder to the planet,” comments Thorsten Beinke, Decor Director, Tarkett EMEA.
“It is this dual ambition of ours, to combine beauty with a profound concept of wellbeing, that drives us to constantly reimagine our collections, always seeking to improve and looking to the future.”
iD Inspiration will be available across Europe from May 2021 onwards. For more information visit tarkett.co.uk
