Highlighting its latest acoustic seating element and lighting solution, BuzziSpace has created a hand-dyed collection to auction off for charity
Since its inception in 2007, Belgian design brand BuzziSpace has developed an impressive portfolio of innovative products with a focus on furniture, acoustic solutions and lighting. Synonymous with quality and craftsmanship, BuzziSpace’s goods are designed to accommodate the ever-changing workplace.
Giving back to the community and lowering its carbon footprint through the use of sustainable materials have been underlying philosophies that guide BuzziSpace’s business and employees since the very beginning. Now, the brand continues on its sustainable mission with the launch of a charity auction which runs until December 22nd.
For the virtual auction, BuzziSpace has created one-off limited-edition pieces including the brand’s BuzziCee and BuzziShade XXL. Focusing on sustainability and craftsmanship, the acoustic products were hand-crafted using recycled and recyclable materials.
The unique print seen on the fabric was created using natural waste such as discarded pieces of onion peals, wood chips, and flower petals. Meticulously hand-dyed over a few sessions to produce a new sustainable ‘Buzziprint’, the acoustic goods were crafted by hand at BuzziSpace’s factory located in the small town of Bladel in the Netherlands.
In an effort to make a positive impact on society and to give back to their communities, all proceeds made from the auction will go two charities including Cancer Research Institute and Think Pink Europe. The donations will help fund ground-breaking research, advocacy efforts, and support people living with cancer.
The BuzziSpace auction will begin virtually at 9:00am EST on December 9th with bidding ending at 5:45pm EST on December 22nd. For more information and to access the auction visit the link here.
