B&B Italia is previewing two modular seating systems at imm cologne 2015, which opened yesterday.
Michel Club by Antonio Citterio is an update of its Michel seating system with resized proportions and cushions. There are 34 linear and modular units in different sizes and five ottomans – both square and rectangular – that can be incorporated to maximise flexibility. The seating system is available in a wide range of fabrics, leathers, colours and textures to further enhance flexibility.
B&B Italia has also introduced new finishes for its Eileen small, round tables with one or two shelves; rectangular Michel tables in different sizes with a top painted in bronzed reflective glass with a black-chrome or nickel-bronzed frame. The same black-chrome finish is also offered for the Mart armchairs.
Solatium for Maxalto, also by Citterio, comprises 140 different elements. Part of its Apta Collection, it combines linear sofas, with chaise-longue terminal elements, corner sofas with armrests and backs of various heights and ottomans, available in a range of leathers and fabrics.
Metal profiles with a bronzed nickel or black chrome finish emphasise the frame, while small tables and consoles in a range of shapes complete the system.
Maxalto has also introduced a new solution in Lithos range with a chromed or painted matal frame; a new size in the oval version of the service element and console Pathos; and a new chrome finish for the frames used in the Elios and Simplice collections.
Interiors show imm cologne is open until 25 January at the Koelnmesse exhibition centre in Germany.
