Independent designer, Charles Kalpakian focuses on furniture, product and tableware design. The Exploded bar, pictured, was designed for the office of a creative agency in Paris. Made out of white lacquered wood with clever backlighting, it has the effect of exploding pieces. Another version is also available in oak. Kalpakian’s inspiration comes from graffiti and the explosion of art and energy.
