The world famous Egg chair, designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1958 and manufactured by Fritz Hansen, will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2008 with 999 limited edition designs. The limited edition collection will for the first time include chocolate brown suede on the back and dark chocolate brown leather on the front, and is perfectly complemented with a base in solid bronze.

Originally designed for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, the Egg chair is today considered a global design icon and can be seen around the world in famous and exclusive locations such as the National Art Center in Tokyo. The designs will be available to purchase in selected stores across the globe from 1 February.
