Since graduating from Central Saint Martins in 2001, London- based designer Matt Elton has established ME Design, a successful business specialising in the manufacture of bespoke furniture for clients ranging from Liberty of London to Zaha Hadid Architects. Dining Chair (left) was recently exhibited at Tent London and is part of the Andrea collection produced at Elton’s workshop in the East End. The unornamented simplicity of his designs gives each piece the classic balance between functionality and aesthetics.
