Partition from Vorwerk Carpets’ FreeSCALE collection of irregular shaped carpet tiles, balances with cloud shaped furniture at the Stockholm offices of VOIP leader Skype. Partition’s unique shape was used across the floor space, flowing between open plan work environments, audio and video studios and breakout zones across 1,000m2 of office space. Using tonal greys from the GreySCALE palette with flash violet highlights taken from the ColorSCALE group, the irregular angles of Partition fit well to Skype’s ambition to be a tool that hooks up the whole world.
